Fuel Pump

I've a 1990, US built d21 and need to replace the fuel pump. When I got it out the rubber is destroyed and I need a whole new assembly. Can I use the Japan built fuel pump or does it have to be the american one? It very hard to find so if anyone has any ideas please feel free to share.

Have to use the USA version. Sorry, the design is different. I went through this too.

I didn't know the exact details, so I did a generic look up. If it's part number 17050-01G04, I was able to find it at several online sites.
This site http://www.redlinemotive.com/store/repl ... &year=1990 offers Bosch pump 61 308 for $248.14 with free shipping. This seems to be the best offer available, as several other retailers were asking nearly $40 more.

Awesome thank you. Just finished cleaning out the tank. Had lots of pieces of rubber in the there. I'm just glad you guys don't sleep.

Update.....found it on parts geek too. And it was cheaper.

Any one know where to find the us version fuel pump assembly, parts geek is out of stock and redlinemotive is under construction.
