fuel pump?

im replacing the fuel pump in my 1990 n/a and was wondering if i have to drop the tank or is there a right up on how todo it?

you can get to it from the top, dont know if there is a writeup but the fuel pump sits behind the seats if your 2+0, not sure bout 2+2

2+2 there is an access port in the hatch to get to it

thanks, i was able to get access to the pump but when i was doing it a friend came by and we got talking anyway he was saying that he can give me a walbro 255 pump i already have one. how hard is it to set up a dual pump system? im doing a TT swap with plans of heavy mods down the road so ill have todo it at some point
