fuel pump

hi my fuel pump wont turn on i have cheked the fues to see if i have poew and i do but when i turn it on no sound comes from the pump to tell me its on nothing happens just cranks and thats all if u can help many thansk to you

It's probably dead....

Check the fuel at the rail and see what you got. Pull the rail, and try cranking it over to see if fuel sprays out.

my car does the same thing too! i just had the fuel pump replaced and it was all good for about two weeks then it starts failing again. basically the car will run perfect, and then i try to start it in the morning (usually happens on cold mornings) and then it will not start! no humming coming from the fuel pump. ill try to start it in the afternoon and it starts. this has happened two times already. anyone have any ideas?

fuel pump relay ? wiring ? fuel pump relay gets a signal from the ecu to tell the pump when to run. pump isnt hard to get to if you check it for power allways check the ground as well.
