I replaced the fuel pump in my 94q and although it ran better It was still cutting out when I would floor it. I tried testing the FPCU by grounding it and now the car will not run. It acts like it is running out of fuel. When I turn on the ignition I can hear the pump click on and then off after about five seconds but the car will not start. It started fine before I grounded the FPCU, any ideas on what I might have done?

Thanks

Perhaps you grounded the wrong wire? Hard to say... how does it work if you remove the ground wire? Did you replace the pump with a new OEM one?

your righ, I did ground the wrong wire and just blew the fuse. I replaced the fuse and it started right up. Unfortunately the fuel pump did not fix my problem and when I ground the FPCU si that it runs on high the problem still exists. I will have to take it to the shop.

Thanks
