With all the 240 theft latley i decided to run a hidden fuel pump kill switch. I dont know which wire is the power wire to the fuel pump though. I took off the little shied cover the connector (s13) in the trunk and there are four wires. I thought it was the red one since i saw i was getin a 12v signal from it when the car was on, so i cut it to wire up the switch but the car just kept running. So i guess i have the wrong wire? So can someone tell me which wire it is i need to hook a switch up to for my fuel pump kill switch?

IIRC, the fuel pump is only to pressurize the fuel system...but that doesn't sound right. Keep trying different wires until the car dies - trial and error works best, but I'd download an FSM from here http://www.zeroyon.com/TheSite/techservice.html and find a wiring diagram.

Take a look at your fuel tank access door.

On the S14, there are two plugs. One plug has 3-5 wires on it depending on year.

The other plug, has two wires. That two wire plug is your fuel pump plug. You can cut/interrupt either wire, since the pump will not work without the ground or the power.

BTW, great choice of an "easy" theft deterent strategy. Even though they can still rob your car of everything you have in it, or tow it, this is the next best thing to do......
