Ok...new problem...

My car's been idling funny, but only when the car warms up...after it warms up, the RPM's go up and down, and it'll stall when trying to start it...none of these things happen when the car's cool and it's been sitting for a while. My friend suggested that it may be the fuel pump...if it is, where's the fuel pump ('90 SOHC)? :D

I'm not rich or anything, so I'd prefer to attempt changing it myself...how hard would that be? Any diagrams or instructions would help...

Thanks,

Micah

I highly doubt it's the pump, could be water temp or O2 sensor. FYI the fuel pump is accessed through the trunk floor on the passenger side.

Thanks for the info...I don't know all that much about this stuff yet...how could i diagnose this or test the possible problems?

Thanks again,

Micah

i don't know any of the sensor voltage specs of the 240, but all you would need is a volt meter and test what those sensors are reading. good one madscientist, i forgot about the O2 sensor. If the voltmeter gives you a reading far off from spec then replace that sensor.

Thanks,

Micah
