fuel pump shutts off when hot

ok so yesterday i was dropping my sister off to work when i came to a stop light after driving for 10 min my car randomly dies and wont start back up so i left it parked for a couple hours and i went to start it up again and it started drove fine for the rest of the night till i had to drop my sister to work again today and the same thing happen but i was in motion it just stalled pulled to the side and tried to start it wont start again so pulled the fuel line off to see if theres gas coming out there was no gas i left the car parked for an hour tired to start it and it did but died down the street

what will cause this bad fuel pump ?

i also changed the fuel filter today didnt make a difference

and before this all happened my idle dropped on the freeway and went straight back up

Fuel pump sounds suspicious, they go bad. Fuel pressure check it to confirm

hahah sorry bout that ... ok so after a few hours of sitting i tried to start it and it started right up it also drives way better then before after the filter was changed but im still stumped why will it go bad when its hot then work again after resting ?

also im thinkin it might be the crank position sensor idk tho
