Howdy all, first post here for me. I've been browsing for awhile but need your input now. I have a '93 Q w/ TCS that I got in Feb. I've swapped the engine twice (first time they gave me a bad one) which took me all summer. I've got 'er all back together now and on the road and now I'm trying to work out the small things. Question in point, I currently have my rear speakers out for repair and the noise from the fuel pump back there is starting to bug me. I sounds like there's air bubbles runnin' through the pump. The sound pretty much goes away under heavy acceleration and comes back worse when I let off. Should I replace the pump? Anything else while I'm in there? And what's the best way to go about it? Thanks Much!

Well, the first think I would recommend is do a search for fuel pump post by poster Tangalora. If your fuel pump is cratering, the last thing you want is for the FPCU to go also.

Then do a search just on fuel pump and FPCU. You will find a wealth of information to help you with this problem.

Welcome to the best source for maintaining your Q45.

Thanks for those links, I haven't quite figured out the search function on this site yet. I'm not sure if the noise I'm experiencing is the "hum" they talk about or not, but if there's not supposed to be any noise at all then this thing's definately got to go.
