I am a total Newb, can barely tell the difference between a socket wrench and my... well, you get the point. I just replaced the fuel pump on my '91, and all went very smoothly.
My suggestions... 1. Print the dandy write up by Tangelora (www.q45.org)2. Make sure you have several large towels to soak up gas.3. Work in a well ventilated area.4. Make sure you have one or two good work lights... they will help you when you are working under the rear deck in the trunk.
Other than that, you should be in great shape. email me (
[email protected]) if you need some pics of the job. I took about 10 pics along the way. You might be able to get them from Wes as well since I emailed them to him.
