it's actually quite easy. All you need is a phillips screw driver and a 10mm socket (possibly even an 8mm), along with a pair of pliers.
once you unplug the pump, take off the cover that is held on with the 4 screws, then under that you will find a plate that has 8 (or is it 6?) little bolts in it that has two hoses coming out of the top. remove those hoses (be careful, there may still be some fuel pressure, so have some towels handy) and then push them out of the way. Once you do that, remove the 8 little bolts and then pull up on the assembly. From there it is pretty self explanatory.
I would jsut replace your pump with a walboro 255 because they are cheaper and better than a stock replacement, about $100 (or 11ty canadian )
