under your back seats you'll see the fuel pump stuff.

you gotta reach in there and pull it out... it's sort of clipped on. Hope the fuel tank is decently low. I believe it's like an up and left (toward driver side) unclipping action, but should be fairly easy.

You should be able to get at it thru the trunk, that's how I removed my buddy's...

I got itout no problem and i replaced the fuel pump and im getting ready to put it back in but i noticed that the 2 wires going to the pump unit the + one had a boot over it and the replacemnet pump didnt come with one. with both the + and - exposed inside the tank is this going to pose any danger? Gas...electricity....boom?

haha, won't be a problem. Gas has properties so taht this doesn't happen (i think it's like good conductor of electricity or something or other)... think about it, your fuel pump is completely submerged (and has been) in the fuel tank when it is full - boot or not, gas is gettin in.

It actually takes quite a bit of energy to get that to spark.

It's not hollywood so don't sweat it. The boom comes from the gasoline vapors and a spark.

passenger side fuse box in the engine bay... if you pop your hood, it's pretty hard to miss ... you seriously should invest in getting a factory service manual... or at least d/ling one...
