First of all Yes I have searched.I am still dont know what wire to cut I have an 93 vert.I have heard on S13's that the black-pink wire controls the fuel pump relay well my Ecu does not have a Black-pink wire. I tried cutting a pink wire that i found but it seems to have no effect. What wire should i splice into for my Kill switch??What color is it.?My ECU has the #81 on the cover if that helps.I really dont want do the trial-error method and end up with a birds nest of splices. Thanks

Here are some pics of my new kill swtich Idea.Since no one has reponded to my Post , give a away my idea for a more secure Kill switch.

My idea is Simple but has the advantage that even if the theif finds the switch It cannot be bypassed easily. There are many different ways to employ this idea but what i am doing is using cat 5 cable which has eight wires, Now i strip the ends off the 8 wires on one side of the cable. Then I cut lets say just (too make explaination easy) One wire that controls some important relay ignition /fuel/ecu ... Now I take a couple of the cat 5 wires and connect it to one end of the relay signal wire you just cut, then take a couple more Cat5 wires and connect them to the other side of the cut wire. The remaining wires Can be connected to Ground. Now you need to write down or remeber which wire were ground and which were part of the switch to you know which to connect at the other end.So for this other end where you would normaly have a switch I connect a female Cat5 receptical. Also being caful to note in which order (protocal) used to connect wires to connector. Now make a key out of a male Cat5 connector and cat5 cable by stripping and connecting the wires that correspond to the ones connected to the wire the you cut/ spliced . On the end of the male key dont even bother stripping the wires the lead to ground ; If these wire are conneced it will ground out the circut and the car wont start.Simple right! So even if a theif finds the connect and recognizes it for what it is the He will still have to know what wires to connect together. connect the wrong wires together or trying to jam the switch with some metalic object will just result in grounding out the circut.

Now just hide the connector in a secure place and you done. you could also subsitute USb /seril/cat6 ect cable and connectors .....What does everyone think???

Personally, I think it is a disaster just waiting to happen, using such a thin wire for any kind of circuit that could easily self destruct under load, leaving you on the side of the road hoping that the thief comes by to give you a lift! Now, regarding your black and pink wire... the wire actually feeds from the dash connector, not the ECU, providing an ignition signal to the fuel pump relay. If you trace it, it goes out to the battery tray area, which is where it is normally spliced for an SR or RB swap. And, by the way, what is an "81" ECU?

I think it's a beautiful idea. Match it with equally beautiful execution and you'll be golden. In my opinion, there is NOTHING better than a custom design.

Seeing as how no thief is going to see an rj45 port and thing "on that's the kill switch", it would be overkill - BUT - if it were me I'd also make it so that any wrong wire shorted would actually blow a fuse rather than simply not work. Like I said, though, that's overkill. Come to think of it, I should probably make overkill my middle name...

I think that is safer to put a kill swith in the ignition instead of the fuel pump.Think of this, hard run, engine under high load, kill switch fails, motor goes lean, bye bye engine. Now if you use a ignition switch, can happen the same BUT instead, the engine will die and will NO gun lean and blowing your engine

Thanks everyone, I seems i just wasnt looking hard enough before but I did find the black-pink wire after all. Still not sure what the solid pink wire does but i reconnected it in any case.Nukeone As far as wire size goes I was also somewhat concerned So I used Three cat5 wires for each side of the switch. Since cat5 is 22awg 3wires= about 17awgthe fuel pump relay signal wire is 18awg so I feel safe. And my Ecu Says 81 as you can see in my pic, I though it might be usefull info incase wireing scemes differ from ecu to ecu. Also I think the ecu might have some kind of built in protection in case the relay fails and pump turns off.Ive tested it by pulling the connector out while running (parked) and the engine just dies out reletively smooth doesnt seem to be causeing any damage; I hope I am not wrong.I have also pulled the connector out and then started car ; It starts up and runs for about five seconds before going Ka-put.I feel so much more a ease leaving the top down where ever i park.I even leave the key in the ignition! I almost looking forward to getting jacked. Im just pictureing the look on the this guys face when he getts ten feet from the parking space and sees me and and baseball bat coming for his ***.

The ecu has no such protection.

The pink wire operates the AIV solenoid. I doubt you'd ever have missed it.
