fuel pump relay not getting 12 volts

I have a 89 240sx and my car is not starting. I found out my fuel pump relay isn't getting 12 volts. I'd really appreciate it if someone could scan related pages out of the factory service manual.

which side is not getting 12 volts? pin 1 or pin 3?

I checked again and it was getting 12 volts. I found out my fuel pump was dead and my fuel pump was clogged (i'm thinking this killed my fuel pump). I got a pump from the junkyard for 25 bucks and my car is running fine again. Thanks anyway nistech
