Hey nico, I've got a 1990 240sx with an rb20det in it. The last (knock on wood) roadblock I've hit is my fuel pressure. First, it was fluctuating like mad. Replaced the return and intake regulators and it's all gravy. Except, the pressure is stuck at 80psi. I can back down the adjustment screw or put it all the way down, no matter what it stays right around 80psi.

I can only guess it's my fuel pump just putting out crazy fuel or something. I've got a Walbro 255lph fuel pump in it. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get my pressure down or maybe whats making it so high? Also, where should it be set?

Thanks, I'm trying to get my 240 back on the road after a good 10months of it being a hostage at a shop.

your pump does not put out "crazy fuel" make sure your lines are clear of blockages and on correctly. 80psi can damage the pump. something is wrong.

what kind of regulator is it?

Yea, the lines are clear with no blockages. That was one of the first thing we checked. the regulator is a stock one.

your stock regulator has an adjustment screw?

and a stock one does not flow enough fuel. you need an aftermarket one like a nismo.
