fuel pump question ?

First of all, just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, dont eat too much.. But my question is... I just got done putting the motor and the wiring harness back in the car. When I turn the key to the "ON" position the fuel pump used to come on for about 4-5 sec. Now it comes on and wont go off. Also when the key is out there is a ticking sound coming from the intake manifold area, it just does it randomly. Any help is appreciated ..

Recheck the ECU/harness connection. Make sure it's plugged in straight and the bolt is tightened down well.
