So im sure this is the wrong section to ask this question seeing as how its not ca specific, but i trust your guys info and rather ask it here. So the past fews days my fuel pump fuse has been blowing and it seems to only happen as i accelerate and its never done it before these past few days so im a bit bewildered about it. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks, Shane

If you have done nothing to your car to cause this issue, then perhaps should start at the fuel pump itself. Other than that, could be a frayed wire or the fuel pump relay or something electrical. Whatever it is, you may want to put a rush on sorting it or it could be the death of your ecu.

Either a bad fuel pump or a short in the wiring to the fuel pump.

Hhmm ill definately start with the fuel pump then. I already have the walboro255 and nismo fpr ill just need the pressure gauge and gasket to take care of that. Ill update once i do the install and hopefully that will solve my problem. Though i do find it strange that while its idling and i rev it it wont blow the fuze but once i try to get it moving it blows and its gotten worse. The first couple days it happened i was able to just replace the fuze and drive, but now i cant even make it out of my driveway without it blowing. It also seems that it is consistently blowing between 2500- 3000 rpm.

I just remembered something. Try unplugging the AACV (the idle valve right under the intake manifold ). IIRC, it runs in parallel with the fuel pump.

Don't replug, just leave it unplugged. The car may be hard to start in the cold without it though.

So try to drive around with it unplugged to see if i still blow the fuse? I live in florida so its never really cold down here so i shouldnt habe to worry about the xold start. I also replaced my air intake sensor because i found out the wires were severed on it and i was told that that sensor helps communicate with the ecu to help it control how much fuel the motor will get, but as i expected it didnt help at all lol

ok, so it's either the fuel pump or a short in the wiring.
