ok, so a week ago i was driving on the hwy when suddenly my rpms dropped off and it died. upon trying to start it again all it did was crank, and my fuel pump doesnt run when the key is on. i checked all fuses and the such, and the connector was horridly corroded, so i direct wired it (right on top of the gas tank in the hatch), but that didnt help, it still doesnt run. is there a relay or soemthing that im forgetting? i dont think it is the pump just dying, its a brand new Walbro 255 pump, so it should be good. also, my fuel filter is leaking fuel around the top of it, but it doesnt seem to be leaking from the line. is it possible that these problems could be caused by a clogged fuel filter? thank you much for you feedback, i have very limited time to fix the car as i need to be able to drive it on friday to get it back to my hometown in CO. thank you very mcuh once again.

i dont think that its the leak. because you would still hear the fuel pump start up when you turn the key. i have had a problem like that. i was driving and the fuel pump kinda died and the rpm was still going but slowly dying. try pushing in the relays that is near the clutch pedal. that was my problem. because of all the hard movement and my suspension somehow the relays short came out just enough for my fuel pump to start and stop. pretty horrible though. dont know how but once i pushed them all in it started and ran fine. no more problems.

well guys, i checked all my fuses and ****, and the fuel pump definatly wont run still, so im thinking maybe its not getting ground somewhere, or perhaps it just decided to die on me. either way its stupid, and i need a wiring diagram to be able to trace ground, and i guess if that doesnt work, i can try pulling the pump and changing it with my other crappy stock one, and see if that works for the time being. i'll let you guys know, and if anyone has any idea where i can get a wiring diagram for an 180sx or RPS13 it would be much appreciated
