I have a KA24DET powered 510 with a 300ZX TT fuel pump. The fuel pump went south and after calling around for prices ($210 - $440) and almost having a heart attack, I figured there has to be a better way.My question is: Is there a way to install a Walbro or some after market high performance pump in the stock 300ZX housing (they are way less expensive)? I looked on the internet for answers and found nothing specific, so I figured this would be the best source. Any help would be appreciated.

the 510 would have had a mechanical pump to start with right? so an external pump is what you would want, and MSD makes one you can get from summit that peaks at nearly 100psi and flows enough fuel for 600 hp kinda loud but they only run about $90, I got tired of the OE S130 FP not doing the job and upsized, no mopre fuel issues for me
