It's okay. Walbro fuel pump is not always good. These are some problems I've seen.

- Some of them are noisy and its nickname is 'Whinerbro.'- FPR(Fuel Pressure Regulator) goes bad sometimes. It's not easy to replace it on KA. Best bet is installing Nismo adjustable FPR.- Fuel lines swell up. Old rubber fuel line can't take the pressure and swell up. It happened to one of the members, positon_. You know what happens if it bursts when engine is hot.

But, it works well on most people's cars. It's ideal if you have a turbo.

only time ive been able to hear any of my walbros was when the car was fully gutted.

and if you have any of those other problems then it was past due for replacement.

I'm on my third walbro, don't run it low on gas they don't like to get hot...I recommend injected performance for the Walbro, fast shipping and a great price.

I know its the pump, I put a pressure gauge on the fuel line and was only getting 11psi. I had to replace the fuel lines under the hood running from the filter and into the fuel rail, if i do the swap i guess it would be wise to swap the old fuel lines anyway? why not while the car is parked. it make take an hour os so longer but hey I want to get things done right on this car, is has sat for to long I wanna go cruisin.
