fuel pump problem

Aight guys i just recently had a rod knock on my old Sr so i went and got a new motor but when i got don't with the swap i notice that my fuel pump isn't priming anymore I've checked fuel pump fuse and bought a new fuel pump relay and still nothing. im sure my nothing could be damage cause it was running fine with my old motor any help guys

measure voltage to the pump or even apply voltage to the pump to see if it turns on.

Check your wiring harness for grounds. I just did a motor rebuild on mine, and the ground that's near back of the head was left off. So, depending on where the wire happened to fall to, the pump would run or not run. It was a pretty frustrating situation.
