Every time i turn the ignition I cannot hear the fuel pump prime. I checked the connector to the fuel pump and only one lead is getting power. Any ideas guys?

Wire the pump using a relay and a switch. Done and Done.

or ignition power to a relay coil, battery through the relay to the pump.

dude check all your fuses and fuel pump relay .If relay is not clicking ON ,you wont get any power to B/Y wire that power fuel pump. Also when you turn ignition ON,engine off, fuel pump relay will prime pump for 5 sec,if ECU does not receive CAS signa,l Voltage to Fuel pump will cease.get a friend to check voltage to solid black with yellow stripe wire at fuel pump,if you have power then, your fuel pump is the prob.

I was having probs with my sr leaning out sometimes.Im always checking my wide band.Don want to blow my s*** up.after checking fuel pressure and brain storming. It occured to me to check voltage at fuel pump, damn my voltage was below 12v. I went and purchased 12gauge wire a bosch relay and some connectors and a switch.I a fn genius.it now gets 14+volts,its starts right up and no more whinning noise.I also wired the switch to the ground side for a little piece of mind .it disables the fuel pump.should also mention my battery is in trunk now so I didnt have to run power very far.im running wallbro 255.

jump the fuel pump so you can eliminate the idea if its a bad fuel pump or not.
