Fuel Pump Problem Maybe???

i have a 91' 240 coupe..i just put a new 300zx fuel filter in replacing the stock 240sx filter.. the car has about 120,000 miles on it . and when i turn the car off.. the fuel pump will go on and stay on for about 20 - 30 seconds after . just wanna know if this is a problem or not..P.S it did this with the old filter too.
