fuel pump/power window went out(sr20)

anybody know how these 2 may relate? i was drifting and my car died. the dash lights went out, the dome light, the power windows and the fuel pump. everything else(lights, starter, etc.) worked fine. i switched some fuses and the dash lights and dome light started working. but the power windows and fuel pump still dont work. anyone have any suggestion on what to do next? car will turn over and lights work. fuel pump fuse is good. thanks

your fuel pump should get power if your starter gets power. i would guess your alternator 75 amp fuse blew or your alternator died.

but wouldnt everything still work if the alternator went out? like just run off the battery?

not if alt fuse is blown. cant run that long on battery alone.

yes but im saying everything else works! lights, wipers, it even turns over. its not the alternator. thanx anyway.

if the fuel pump is not coming on for first few seconds when you turn key, then your ignition switch or wiring is at fault. when key is in "on" position power goes from ignition switch to fuel pump and to a relay that controls power windows. also to ignition coil. position 3 on ignition switch. start at ignition switch and find where the power stop.
