I can't seem to figure out why the pump isn't getting any power but yet the sensors for the fuel gauge on the pump work, and the pump works when i hook it up to a power source but it wont get power from when i turn the key on. Ive checked and replaced both fuses to a 15amp, Ive checked my plugs comming off the harness.

I just recently installed an s13 blacktop back into my car after i just blew the previous redtop up, the harness was untouched the whole time but now after i installed the motor, im getting no fuel. Now is it possable that I can have this problem because im using a s13 blacktop ecu on an s13 redtop harness even though they both came out of an s13?

Everything else has power, Horn, lights, ecu, interior. everything but the pump. I was thinking of hooking the pump up directly with a toggle switch, Has anyone ever done this? if so can you tell me how you did it.

thanks guys

Okay "BRUH", I'm familiar with this problem! I went through this exact same problem with my 91' SE-R. I swapped from a high port SR20(originally in 91'-94') to a low port SR20(originally in 95'-99'). I've tried plug-n-play, swapping wiring harnesses, splicing wires, changing relay's, and it got me nothing. I sprayed ether in the intake and the motor would run. I've went through all that you've gone through and last weekend I was going to reroute power to the fuel pump when something said,"change the ECU". I changed the ECU, put the key in the ignition, and turned the ignition to the on position and I get a "HHHHHMMMMM" from the fuel pump! When I read this thread I started laughing b/c I just fixed this problem last week and now I see you have the same deal but with the RWD SR20DET. Give this a try and you should be fine, if you haven't figured it out already.

Check your harness for any sliced wires or a loose ground.

Check to make sure the fuel pump wire is pinned in the correct spot. I had the same problem, checked power at the relay, had power but wasn't getting the signal from the ECU. I jumped the relay, fuel pump turned on car ran. I found my problem to be a miss pinned wire in the ECU plug.

I believe it is the ecu. seeing how the pump had no problem running with the redtop ecu but once i put in the e5 ecu it doesn't power up but yet my fuel gauge works..I have it hot wired to a 40amp relay and a 30amp fuse
