Check your fusible link(s)...

These are wires that are designed to "burn" (similar to a fuse) to protect the wiring system from overload.

If you trace the positive (+) cable from the battery, you should find a fusible link in this wire - usually quite near the battery. If the link is burned, replace it. If it happens again, you likely have a short somewhere.

Other than this, check for bad connections - - including the main grounding cables (engine block to vehicle frame, etc.).

Let us know what you find.

allright this is what i did.... i took a new wire, connected it to my fuel pump wire and than i connected that to the fuel pump fuse and my car started and haven't turned off yet i'm still going to chek if the original fuel pump wire has a short somewhere but at least i got the car to start i had the car on for about 20min and i drove it around the block didn't turn off.... i know its not a long term solution but works untill i figure out why my fuel pump doesnt get power from it own wire. A friend suggested to check the altenator???or could my fuel pressure regulator be the problem??
