Hi,

so recently my Z got me stranded.... when i got her towed home, I unplugged the small hose right before the fuel filter (as i recently replaced the fuel filter) tried to crank my Z and sure enough no gas, not a drop.

before i continue big thanks to NICOclub for providing the info for the troubleshooting assistance.

Now onto my question; is there any other reason why im not getting gas other than the pump going bad? i checked the fuse near the batter and it looks fine. Are there any other fuses i should check? or another unit/ controller?

Thanks guys. :bigthumb:

There's a fuel pump relay in the box by the battery, there's a fuse in the kick-panel near the drivers seat, there's a fuel pump controller (I don't know where, too lazy to search), and then yea, the fuel pump itself. I'd check those other things first, and also pull your ECU codes before jumping at the pump.

The fuel pump controller is behind the driver's seat, under the cosmetic/interior cover.

You can test the fuel pump (preferably outside the car so you don't blow anything up), by applying ~12 volts directly to the pump and see if it runs. I would check the various relays and fuses first though. When you turn the key to "ON" do you hear the pump prime? should sound like a muffled electric whine
