hey, i hope theres not already a posting about this...im sick of looking.i have a 1992 fastback (super hicas if it for some crazy reason matters). before i removed the wiring harness and pulled the motor, the fuel pump was working. I have since dropped my sr20 in and installed the new wiring harness. i turned the key and the car turns over but no fire....i came to find the fuel pump was not coming on so i wired direct power to it. still wont start, so i checked the injectors and as soon as i try to turn the car over they lose power. so im assuming that the injectors and reason the fuel pump didnt come on initially are related to eachother. as far as i know all fueses are fine...am i missing something obveous? stupid ground ? i feel like theres something im forgeting that i shouldnt be...help please, im sick of this whole project going to s***.

i guess i dont understand how i could ahve screwed up on the ecu...you simply plug the harness into the ecu and theres one other small harness that gets plugged in under the pass side dash.....???

theres a few things you can dotake out the pump and jump it off the battery, tho you said it worked before so i wouldnt bother with this.Make sure that when you put straight juice to it that you used the right wire( ie 12v source to pump)Test the relaydo you have a test light? you can see if the ecu is grounding the relay.do you have the FSM?Check your ground for the fuel pump

when i did my sr timing was off, did another one for my buddy and found out that his oil feed bolt is stripped and pissing out oil. another sr and the fuel pump fues keep blowing up, the next one the front cover cracked and the crank pulley cracked. getting my drift. its always something just step back its something easy just go back to basic. START by checking the fuse in the engine bay right side and see if that fuse is good. if not and replace it with a 25amp fuse. if like me it shorted out again then pull out the box and look for a black/yellow stripe wire and cut it and tape it. and try again. but you will love the out come when you drive down your street boosting.

so i did what you said and nothing mattered...still no start. i decided to check something i should have a long time ago and take the coils off. I was barely able to see the top of the spark plugs because they were covered in water/coolant (no sure)....i didnt bother checking this because they say that they compresion check there motors and said it was all good. I must say that the corrosion around that coil was bad and i dont think this motor was ever checked...?

what do you/anyone think??????????/??
