well, I had something like that happen to me when I was driving my 180 sr (was in okinawa, japan)down the road and it just dies... I would start my car and it would just turn over and turn over but no start.... I had a really loud fuel pump and noticed that I didn't hear it whine when i turned the ignition on... I checked the fuse, good.... switched the pump and nothing happened... after being stumped for a couple weeks I asked a friend to let me borrow his ECU (his JCI ran out so he couldn't use his car until he got money to renew it "Japanese Car Inspection" ) well... i slapped his ecu in there and WHA BAM, my **** started right up... something happened to the ECU... dont know what, but it **** on me. I hope this helps!

yeah it just might work... if not, you may have a wire cut somewhere... just find a friend and borrow theirs... if it works then go find one to buy. I hope it fixes it. You might have to run wires and a toggle switch to it if you can't find the problem but hopefully you do (fingers crossed)

do you know how to put a toggle switch in? like which wire to cut at the fuel pump? i need to get this running and putting in a switch will be way faster than me trying to find another ecu

Or instead of trying to find a new ecu. pull the pump itself out and inspect it. I had to do that on my S14 when the problem arose. T he fuel pump itself had just died and I needed to replace it. it's alot less hassle than trying to find a working ECU
