Fuel pump not turning off?

drove the car home last night from the panel shop....parked it up....then this morning, I went to start it, and it won't!when you turn the key to ON...the pump turns on, but doesn't turn off after 5 sec?the motor also cranks when in start, but wont fire up.It has power to the ECU....lights come on.I have power at the coils and the dropping resistor.

any ideas?cheers

sorry, my bad.I have 2 ECU's I was trying, one doesn't have a chip in it!lolstarts fine now ( as it would with a chip! )
