Fuel pump not priming

Ok ive had this problem ever since I put my sr in, I have a walbro 255 pump, its installed correctly and works when i turn the key to on it doesnt come on, I know the pump works cause I t'd another wire onto it before and it came on and pumped fuel but wouldnt stop. I need some help here it's the only thing left. oh yea also the fuse is fine another thing everything works electrical on the car lights wipers car cranks over everything except the pump

oh and yes i searched for about and hour and a half before I posted this

check the fuel pump relay, maybe you wired it up wrong or it's bad. That's what it is if it's not workin with the ignition.

where is the pump relay.. this is probably be a dumb question..

well ive narrowed it done some more, the black/pink wire is not getting power cause I t'd a 12 volt inigtion wire to it and it came right on.. so its something before the battery tray wiring.

So your not getting any power to the relay or are you getting power to the relay just not the pump. It just sounds like you have it on the wrong signal wire which apperantly isn't the signal(ignition) wire.
