Where the heck is the fuel tank and pump on a G35 coupe?

I was sitting on the porch at my local bar last night and saw a G35C literally coasting down the street. He parked in the turning lane, threw on his hazard lights, and popped the hood. I went to see if I could help and found out the car was running the Greddy TT kit (5psi). He said the car just died on him during a shift. He had just installed the Kinetix plenum this weekend so we started looking for loose vacuum hoses, etc. We couldnt find anything so he called his friend that helped install the intake.

Turns out his friend is also a buddy of mine. So we get the car off the road, and spend the next hour trying to troubleshoot. Our mutual friend decides its a fuel problem, and we realize the fuel pump isnt priming when the key is turned to 'on'. Check the fuse and its blown. We throw another one in there and it pops again.

Then we set off on our quest to locate the fuel pump, assuming its shorting out for some reason or was properly wired in the first place. We tear into the turnk, no access to the pump. We search the trunk pass thru, still no pump. We decide to check under the backseat, but before doing so, our buddy crawls underneath to try to see the fuel tank. He says he sees nothing.

In the end, the car had to be towed home. Three guys couldnt locate a freaking fuel tank, much less the pump. So, where is this thing hidden?!?

I'm sure the pump is inside the tank...

Big JORDAN!!! Was sup with the short story you got going on?? Lol.

I ripped off the TT kit and installed it on my s13, running low 10's. Ahhh

I was kinda buzzin that nite coming from fridays so i didnt feel like messing with that G35, but we found out the pump/tank are under the rear seat. Pretty easy to remove actually. The fuse stopped blowing, but now its not getting power to the pump intself. Im mad cause the original fuse cover is layerd with carbon fiber, so the identification label isnt there, so i dont know where all the fuses go. I have to get a hold of that and also see where the fuel pump relay is. This is why i hate working on cars that already have been tinkered with cause you dont know whats hacked up on it.

Well, lets see what happens. Car does haul azz thou... when it runs.
