i am 98% sure, that for the fuel pump on that car just remove the fuel tank straps, drop the tank , on top of the tank there will be a retaining ring on top of the tank which hold in the fuel pump module, turn the ring counter clockwise about 1/8 turn, and the whole module should then be able to come out, the pump will be on the end of the module, swap it out along with the strainer and reverse the procedure for the reinstall,

careful with all the hoses as to not kink any

please dont do what he said,,, remove the two bolts holding the back seat in, take it out under the seat is an access panel. under it is the top of the tank and fuel pump all nice and easy to get to, dont spill gas in your car!!! you would have to drop the whole rear suspension to drop that tank!!! I have a99 so I know its under there.
