hey guys having problems with gettin my car running. its a 90 hatch, automatic, with 170k. Heres the situation, my car ran fine the day i bought it, all it needed was a fuel pump. put that in and it ran great that day on. it ran for 3 weeks fine no problems. 2 nights ago i installed a catback exhaust, the car started and ran fine that night. the next morning i go to start it and when i turned the key to ON i did not hear the fuel pump..... WTF.... i spent all night trial and erroring. the 10a FP fuse is good, the EGI fuel pump relay is good. and when the fuel pump works bc i hooked a battery charger to it and it kicked on. now after i did that i when ahead and started it...it fired and ran for about 4 mins, then ****ted out. obviously the motor is not recieving fuel and the fuel pump isnt turning on. it just doesnt make sense because it was fine the night b4, and the fuse, relay, and pump r fine. could putting on my exhaust f**ked with anything? or possibly is my problem with the ECU? any suggestions is gladly appriciated.

I had a very similiar problem, but i went ahead and swapped in a new pump..which did not work either, turned out my rom tune was not plugged in tight enough and was causing this " bad " fuel pump. check ur ecu connection! exhaust wouldnt have anything to do with the pump turning on.
