Fuel pump help

i just got a 1988 300zx turbo that had been sitting on this guys lot for a year and so i bought it at a really good price , so i cleaned it up and changed the fuilds and looked at every thing i go to try to start the car and i dont hear the fuel pump start ...yeah so i need some help

the connections and so i changed it and no diff and i cant find the relay for the fuel pump, i really dont wanna drop the tank and change the pump

AZ will be able to pinpoint that relay but have you checked for voltage T the pump?

no not yet do u know where i apply vt to the pump

there are 2 seperate connectors going into the tank, one for the sender and one for the pump, the one with the fuel lines is the one with the pump just track the wires to the nearest connector and check for voltage there

k today i cheacked the relay it was fine so i think its the pump

ten you have voltage at the pump but it's just not coming on? pulling the tank on the z31 is not difficult, just take your time there are a few hoses taht are tricky to disconnect
