fuel pump help asap

So I bought a used fuel pump so I could pull my walbro out. I've hooked everything up and when I turn the key on the pump sounds like it's priming but no fuel is sending through the line. What could cause this? Is something clogged inside the pump that I can flush out or am I just SOL?
