I am eventually going to go turbo, but for now I am going to start with the basic components. I plan to run the Walbro 255lph hi pressure pump, I have read that as long as stock pressure is maintained that the car will not run richer and I will retain stock mileage. Is this true? Also, what is the maximum pressure that 370 injectors can handle before failure? Thanks.

if your worried about gas milage I would suggest not increasing the performance of the car as you will regret it later on. As far as you question I have no idea what the threshold is , just offering you advise based on your statement.

This question is better asked in the forced induction or car specific forums.

But the answer is no, the walbro does not increase the fuel pressure.. it just allows the fuel flow to go to a higher level. It will work on a stock car fine.

the injector question depends on the motor. if it's a ka24de like mine, it will be fine at about 10 psi. It can flow for more on the KA24DE at stock pressure, but you're balancing on the edge of a knife at that point.

i have heard of big fuel pumps overwhelming the stock regulators though mine did not. nissan side feed injectors are still reliable over 60psi. the new top feeds prob more.

Did you mean 10 psi above stock pressure or 100 psi?
