Fuel pump - gas gauge Problem?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi, anyone experienced problems with your EX35 fuel pump? Although I fill up my gas tank all the way full, the gas level gauge still shows less than full so I brought it into the dealership to check on it. They told me the fuel pump was faulty so they replaced it (yesterday, 3/11) and I notice that it still has the same problem today. I filled up the gas tank again, and it still shows less than a full tank.

Now I'm thinking they never even replaced the part because I don't see any difference at all. Anyone had this problem?

Was your gauge OK for some time then just started acting up recently? I had a problem with a previous Nissan product.. and then it started on my EX after about 7000 miles.

the fuel gauge was one ex35 problem since 2008 they replaced a lot of them.
2nd my fuel gauge when it hits about 5gal or 1/4 tank or more it falls to 1/16 tank and sometimes acts like your on empty
I am taking mine back to infinity again. its always a 14.5 fillup on a 20gal tank when it says I am almost empty or the low millage display comes on. Bad on long trips or around town

most times after fillup it registers 1/2 tank until driven awhile or turn off/on car.
