fuel pump fuse popping

i have an 98 240 with s13 blacktop t3/4 setup and i keep on blowing fuses . i already ran 12 gauge to fuel pump with 20 amp fuse and that keeps blowing when my tank is about 1/4 way full any advice is appreshated

check your wiring on your fuel pump connectors. I had the same problem.

If I'm not mistaken most people run a 30amp fuse but yeah, check the connections you made. Some may be coming in contact with each other.

guys this is weird last night i popped a 20 amp fuse that i had at the battery for the fuel pump then i put in another fuse and that popped as soon as i put it in . come to find out the relay that i put in the rear for the fuel pump burned out . what do u guys think is going on can it be that i have an s14 and when my guy did the swap he used the new s13 sock cause the fuse only blows when im like at a 1/4 of a tank ????
