fuel pump fuse popping

i have a 98 s14 with s13 sr20det and my fuel pump fuse keeps on blowing it seems to only blow when im under high boost , also when im under 1/4 tank of gas whatch guys think any info is appreshated thanks jon

I've had this problem, is it a walbro pump?

The fuel pump, i just learned, is actualy cooled by the fuel. When you have low fuel, you lose cooling capacity for the pump. When you add to that increased demand of boosting the pump gets hot. As the pump gets hot it builds resistance and POP goes the fuse.

I went to a 30a fuse. Seemed to clear it up for me. You can also try to keep extra fuel in the car. Get this fixed or dont boost, running lean under boost can cause way way bigger problems!
