My car used to run just fine. Now my fuel pump fuse keeps blowing. I just tried replacing my fuel filter but it's still the same. Could it be a bad fuel pump?

a fuse is a simple devise. it is just a piece of wire encapsulated in plastic. when amperage is too high for that piece of wire it will get hot and melt, opening the circuit. amperage is the measurement of current. in your case you may have a bad bearing in your pump which is causing too many amps to be needed to turn the pump, blowing your fuse. an internal short could also cause the fuse to go. hope this helps.
