so after fixing the problem with my CAS, i tried to start my car and it still wouldnt fire up. check my fuel pressure gauge and ive got no fuel pressure. key on, dont hear the fuel pump prime. checked the fuse and replaced the relay with a known good one. still the same. check the pump itself, its still good. come to find out theres no power going to where the relay is. i think its jump pin 2 to pin 4 and check for battery voltage. i get nothing.

the weird part is i had fuel when i was hunting down the cas/no spark issue. anyone ever experience this or have any quick things to check before i open up the fuse box wiring harness to see if its something in there? i really hate to tear it up....

That fuel problem is really odd, and may or may not have anything to do with the original no spark problem, but i have pretty much the exact same spark problem with mine. It was getting pretty bad, cutting out every drive then taking a couple minutes to be able to start back up. I replaced the ignitor (a j30 ignitor is plug and play for a series 1 rb25det) and fixed the problem. It was a junkyard ignitor and only lasted about a month before it took a s**t, but it did fix the problem. Can't really help with the fuel issue, but if your original problem is still present after the fuel problem try an ignitor.

have you checked the fuel pump fuse?Blown? Fuel pump relay, has it been tested? Got any voltage? Next, i recommend ( thats if your getting voltage..) Check ECCS relay and IGN. relay for voltage! (Both are located by your ECU.) By the way, is your check engine light on? Also, check your EGI fuse in ......located under the hood in the main fuse box. Change ANY blown fuses or wierd looking ones that you question. If all looks good, Locate the main 12v wire that goes from ECU to F/P and check for voltage in the "ON" position of your ignition. You should have Batt Voltage within the 5sec.. After 5sec., you should have 2V.Other than this, might want to check your harness. good luck!

sorry for the hijack!

test the pump isnide the tank (disconnect the feed line on top of the fuel tank assembly, so when someone taps the key u can see if the pump is pumping gas) the no spark thing get the distribuitor out the coil cable out, put it near the chassis so u can see the spark and then spin the distribuitor by hand, check for spark.... then keep cheking all fuses etc while spinning, wiggle the harness around

Tek747 plz explain and detail that thing about the fuel pump having 14 volts then 2v....!!! my fuel pump harness has 5 wires, 2 give me battery voltage, antoher one 8volts (comming FROM the mainharness it isnt the pump giving me 8v) and the other 2 0volts...

did you put a electric fan wired to the fuel pump fuse before?
