Hey guys, about a day or two ago I started hearing this ticking noise coming from behind me and with the loudness of the car, I couldn't pinpoint it with the door open so today I was finally able to find out it was the Fuel Pump Controller behind the driver seat. It's very small ticking but loud enough to hear inside the car without radio and windows rolled up.

Is this a sign of malfunction? What's a good way of diagnosing it?

Are you sure it's the controller that's ticking? If it's anything like the design in the Q there are no moving parts, so I'd be curious to know what could actually tick in there...

It's ticking, think of a those things they show in movies to see if theres radiation nearby lol, just not as loud or intermittent. When it stops it will stop for a good portion of the time and will continue for a long period of time once it does start again.
