So I found the fuel pump kill switch diy but I was also looking into having an ignition kill switch as well for the added safety plus ill have an alarm. Aint nobody stealin my car. So any info on the ignition diy would be help. Do I just splice a wire into the key ignition and run the switch somewhere fancy and unique?

Don't know if you are looking for something more complex. but you could simply cut the wire that gets 12v when the key is in the ON possition and wire a switch to it.. Hide the switch.

If the switch is in the OFF possition the engine will turn when cranked but it won't start..

That's the wire I use when installing alarms on manual trannys to prevent them from starting when pushed..

Also notice that if the car is running and you flick the switcht to off the car will instantly turn off..

You could wire it with two relays and a pushbutton so you need to push the button everytime you want to start the car and it will automatically reset to off when you turn the car off..
