fuel pump and regulator

i was wanting to know if i need to install the upgraded fuel pump and the regulator or can i hold off for a little bit. i have ordered the pump and regulator already but i wanted to know if i could drive around for a week in the 240sx with a rb25det without any major problems or will the engine just be too starved to work or run too thin or something. i dont plan on doing it for long term just for a week like i was saying before. im new to the RB family and i am just trying to get some answers.

lol if your stock pump is in good working order you can run and drive the car on a stock pump just stay out of boost, BUT i wouldnt recommend it.
