I posted in General a while ago but no help there, I know you guys are alive and pretty clever, please help me out...

I need a big a$$ in-tank pump, either 2-3 Walbro´s or one big 1200hp+ pump.Is there any big in-tank pumps on the market?

I also need the diameter of a Walbro pump, can´t find it on the web.

It would help to know what the project is? I had an article where a Mustang owner used dual 255LPH pumps and was laying down just over 900 at the wheels. SO two or 3 255LPH pumps should definitly do the trick. Plus that particular pump doesn't get very hot.

Why in tank? You better explain the project, you can't just mention 1200 HP and leave us hanging!!!

Take a look at some high hp drag cars to see what they run. I remember seeing the Apex R33 in a magazine and it had a good description of its fuel setup.

My guess is they use dual in-tank pumps or an inline pump. Companies like Aeromotive make some high hp fuel pumps, but I think theyre all inline pumps.

Haha, ok! Let´s say it´s a KA (to be in the right forum), I´m building an E85 engine and need to double the fuel side to be on the safe side.Aiming for 6-700bhp and need a pump able to feed around 1200 horses on gas.

Got a 70 mm hole in the tank and need to find something in that size, 3 Walbro´s in a triangle or one big pump.

Want to go in-tank in first hand because of the inspection every year, that way I can hide it.

Yeah, looked at both SX and Aeromotive today but no in-tank ones.

Yeah, same with methanol but they often talk about 100% ethanol and all the rules around dry alcohol.

E85 got additives to lube and save your system, no problem yet what I´ve heard.99% of the E85 cars we got here use in-tank pump and you would need a in-tank to feed even if you go surge tank.

2 or 3 255LPH pumps will be your best bet in my opinion if in tank is the way you're going.

Here's a site that lists them for $85 255 LPH Pump

I know but I need the size to know if I can use them, come on WD, call one of your contacts and ask for the diameter... You would be my hero for 2007!

I only got a 70 mm hole and I need to know the diameter before I order. I can´t fit two if they are 36 mm each.

Thanks a lot man! I guess the in-tank one got the same size.

This is bad new but I saved a lot of cash, no idea to go Walbro.
