Be sure to pull the fuel pump control module, remove it's cover, and see if anything looks "cooked" either the four transistor-looking things that are screwed to the sides for heat displacement, or the connector leads. You definately need to replace the fuel pump, but it's also possible that something else, like the mass air flow connection - could be causing your problem too.
