stock 91 240sx hb 234k miles ka24de car all the sudden wants to bog out and die at idle.....runs perfect other then that only happens in neutral when i come to a stop light or something.

i thought it was the fuel filter. so i replaced that and it didnt happen for a good couple days.

well this morning on my way to work it did it again!

any other suggestions? only bogs out in neutral

clogged air filter? injectors? cant be spark plugs or timing cus it runs perfect other then being in neutral.

any help or suggestions greatly appreciated!

get a can of thorttle body cleaner and clean the sides of the throttle body, there is probably alot of gunk there. also clean out the iacv. Then i would get a can of seafoam and run it through your intake system, like through the brake booster line.

I had the same issue recently, and I solved it by doing this to my car - zerothread/254273 . To test and see if the PAIR Valve is actually the problem, just pull the hose from the PAIR Valve off of the air filter housing while the car is running and idleing rough. If the roughness goes away, then the PAIR Valve is the problem. Good luck!

whats up well if you still have this problem then it is gonna be your fuel pump its a easy fix just open your trunk and you can take the other one out through there and put the new one in believe me i just did this not to long ago and my car runs like new
