Fuel problem? Electrical problem?

ok i have a 90' sohc. I thought my starter or alternator were bad checked and replaced and now ive also replaced the battery. Car isnt starting i took the cover off the fuel pump and tried starting the car and it primed, so that means its good right? The other weird thing is that right behind the intake manifold there are 2 plugs that have wires going into one big group of wires that go over the fuel injectors. Well those 2 plugs sound like they are buzzing and when i jiggle the wire the buzzing will either fade away or get louder. I am not good with electrical stuff at all....so i want to have a idea whats wrong so if i take it to shop i dont get ripped off.
