So i fixed my fuel problem, I got new o-rings (#83) from lowes as I was told by a member on NICO and that solved my fuel problem as it was pouring gas out of the rail into the motor.

Now though, it cranks like a charm but it wont idle. I've fiddled with timing by rotating the CAS but that wouldnt keep it idling. Also when I hit the throttle to try to keep it alive it just falls on its face and dies.

I have 550cc injectors but I used the power fc to back fuel off and the duty cycle at crank/idle decreased according but had no effect on keeping the motor running.

Any ideas? My vacuum said around -.7bar at 1000rpms. I have spark on all cylinders and my injectors all click when the CAS is turned.

sooooo close...

Thanks,Daniel

Does it rev past 2500 rpms? If not the maf isn't working right or has bad wiring. Perhaps there are leaks in your piping as well. Set the CAS approximatley in the middle of its range, that should be close. Other than that, just keep trying new things and letting us know what it is/isn't doing.

COuld be a setting on the PFC, who knows.

did you check the top of the cylinders like i told you to? I'm sure your engine is HYDRO LOCKED like mine was. It would crank all day and ocassionally start but then die out. You need to pull the coil packs and spark plugs and clear out all the gasoline in all 6 valves and then with the plugs out let them air dry for about a day. Then change the oil and tear *** for about 50mi then change oil again and you should be clear.

Trust me bro we had the same problem down to the o-rings. Sooo once all that is done she should be running great. To get the fuel out of the system disconnect the igniter chip and pull the plugs and coil packs then crank away. It will make a hell of a mess but i'm sure that will solve it all. and i'm sure you have more than 5qts of oil/gas in the whole block. Do this before you end up damaging the cams and all kinds of other expensive parts. Trust me i'm tell you from expierence.

Also, check to make sure your fuel pressure gauge is steady and does not leak. yo man if you have any questions just email me at [email protected] or my screen name on yahoo mesenger is usmcgetsome i pray that you don't brake anything soo do as i advise.

The motor starts up like a champ but it dies right away. It will start up at 1100rpms and then fade to 300rpm before dying.... all in about 2-3 seconds.

I already drained the oil/gas from the last time it flooded and this time I didnt do anything at all until I solved the o-ring problem with the rail not on the car. So I would'nt think there is any gas left in it. I checked my plugs since the last time it flooded and they are still good and still getting spark.

I have a Q45 MAF, so I wonder if that is bad. I unplugged the MAF and it made no difference in getting the car started. I do still have the stock MAF to try.

The power fc is set for the q45 maf. The only settings I played with were the injector settings which I lowered to 50% then raised back up to 75% and then reset to the original 100%.

I tried starting with the stock ECU today as well but it wouldnt even fire up.

The motor wouldnt rev to 2500 because like I said when I opened the throttle any percentage the motor died.
