i just got my car running yesterday with my new fuel system (jwt ecu, 740cc injectors, z32 maf) but didnt even let it warm up. today let it warm up reset the timing with the tps unplugged and checked the fuel pressure with the vaccum line off the fpr. im using an autometer underhood mechanical fuel pressure gauge. with the vaccum line off the fuel pressure is about 46-47psi at idle. with the line on its 40psi if that matters. im sure this jsut might make me run a little more rich but why is my fuel pressure a little higher than it should be? walbro high pressure pump maybe?

Could be. But the FSM says 34PSI connected, 43PSI disconnected so it ain't too bad.

Your fpr SHOULD be able to handle the added flow of the walbro, however...it could be getting old and questionable or something. Thats really all I can think of.

That pressure is correct, you have some other problem. Are you in a 13 or 14?

Did you see the date on the last post in this thread...it's 18-mo old...hehe.

And I'm quite sure he has this problem worked out...the car just did ~11.2 @ 128mph.

It's a bit high.

Also, folks, a walbro 255lph WILL raise your fuel pressure, and it has nothing to do with your FPR being broken. All your FPR is is a hole in a rod that slides to expose more or less of the hole. If you flow more through the same size hole, you get more pressure in the rail. PV = nRT.
